A Sheri Lou Original tapestry is a handcrafted art piece created using various fiber materials to create a breathtaking image. The creation process usually takes 3 to 4 months beginning with a concept followed by a composition of what you can expect the finished piece to look like. Many of the materials and findings on our tapestries include authentic African mud cloth, silk, satin, cotton and rayon imported from around the world. Accents such as bronze, glass, wood bead findings and felted wool hair are hand sewn to the quilt for durability and quality. Our quilts can be made in different dimensions to suit your preference. These handmade quilts are truly a work of art and definitely a conversation piece. For more information and pricing, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
The following tapestries are from the Fiber of Life Series, titled: "Sisters of Eve". The 3 images represent unity and the "Trinity. The "tie" like fibers depict a woman's hold on mankind and authority. As shown below, no two quilts are exactly the same and the colors and materials used are unique to each customer.
